Yup, I think I have blood injection phobia. It has always been hard for me to see blood in person and sometimes on TV. Today though I was holding my cat and I was walking past the sink when my boyfriend rattled a lot of the dishes. In her attempt to escape from my arms her back claw dug into my pinky finger. It hurt so I assumed it must be bad, I looked and at first the cut appeared really deep and then all my mind could think of was "to the bone..to the bone" and I got really nautious and had to lie down. LMAO! The cut turned out to be hardly anything and with minimal bleeding. Sheesh, what a wuss I am...

Hahahaha *pointing*

Seriously, there's a lot of people like you. One of my friends cut himself to the paper of his notebook in class and when he saw the blood, he just fainted. It was just a tiny little cut but apparently the sight of blood was too much for him.

I have a litteral fear of blood injection.
i.e. this guy on the news was mugged a while back and the fuckwit criminal used a syringe full of hiv positive blood to "hold him up" with-then they injected him with it-it was ages ago but it just sticks in my mind and it really freaks me out.
otherwise i dont mind blood.....

I dont have a phobia of blood usually but one time I cut my stomach on a piece of metal and it really hurt so I clamped my hand over it straight away. When I was brave enough to look I had a gash on my stomach and it wasnt deep really but long. I felt all dizzy and had to sit down and apparently I turned really pale. Then I went back to normal.Weird! Yes it hurt and yes I have a scar :(

OMG, my luck sucks today!!!

Just a minute ago I was walking in the kitchen and my boyfriend DROPPED A KNIFE ON MY FOOT! Luckily, oh so luckily, the part to hit my foot was the handle. I was soooo afraid to look down because I knew what it was and it hurt so bad cause it was a heavy knife...

I think I should stay out of the kitchen..

I don't get weird at the sight of blood.
HOWEVER, I sometimes get horrible, full-body panic attacks whenever I hear about or see extreme medical procedures in graphic details. They usually take the form of my stomach getting upset, a ringing in my ears, and sometimes getting a cold sweat.
In fact, when I was at school, I had to leave classes on more than one occasion because of those attacks.

Or you should find yourself a less clumsy boyfriend....

I agree! I don't mind blood (in small amounts). I don't like to watch those surgery shows on like Discovery channel when they have someone ripped open from stem to stern. That's a bit much.

I have an eye phobia. We had to watch a real eye surgery for a science class in like 8th grade. I about threw up all over. I can't stand that stuff. I still suffer to put contacts in. lol

I think your bf is trying to wound you, dear,... you better sleep with one eye open (No pun the above paragraph intended).

Hey Seles! :wavey:

You're braver than I am for using contacts...I don't see how anyone can put anything on their eyeball

I'd rather just get glasses!
