Died circa 3 July 2001
Married Thomas Hoffmann circa 1966

Karin Hoffmann - Warnke died unexpectedly at the age of 64 years . In 1958 she was German tennis champion in doubles with Inge Pohmann , plus she the title in mixed doubles with partner Buchholz . Karin Warnke played for HTHC , and won their first championship not win in tennis, but in hockey . In 1951, she guided the team of Greta Blunck and Auguste Hargus to success. Two years after their last title win at the 1966 HTHC the summer festival she married Dr. Thomas Hoffmann in 1966 . In recent years , however, golf and the cottage in Großenbrode were the centre of her life , not so much tennis and hockey.
