Engagement matters more than followers. I checked the last 2 posts from Iga and Bouchard. Świątek got 35k and 68k likes, while Genie only 26k and 30k

Well Genie got 126K on her fifth most recent one while Petra is regularly below 10K and Garbiñe is often not even breaking 1K, yet both of them are on this list. And Emma is regularly in the 100K-200K+ range and has 2.5 million followers so how the heck is she supposedly behind Iga ?

Why the heck are these threads merged anyway ? Congrats to Iga for making it on the Time list but that has nothing to do with this shoddy social media one.

She was more relevant this time a year ago when she was on her silly streak. Now she's only winning titles sporadically without gaining any serious momentum. Annd because she doesn't have off-court success, her marketability has dropped accordingly.

These lists feel increasingly random tbh ; I wonder what their methodology is, but it's still significant for Iga. Where did this friendship between her and SHIFFRIN come from ?

Emma being behind her is a bit weird. I wonder if they count not only the social media itself, but something else, but then, it kind of stops making sense in a way. Who knows
