Nope.Does Serena use it a lot btw? I can't picture it for some reason.
she used it a lot in her RG loss this year, don't know if there was a reason for it, but when i was looking at the highlights there was more helicopter FHs than regular ones.Clijsters and Lindsay.
Nope.
Serena has a very early racket preparation and is hardly ever late on her fh to have to use the helicopter technique. She has a very solid technique and superb body weight transfer on that wing.

Yeah. Maria's is the only one that really stands out in my mind as being good.she used it a lot in her RG loss this year, don't know if there was a reason for it, but when i was looking at the highlights there was more helicopter FHs than regular ones.
Also I think Sharapova, I never really saw enough of Lindsay playing to say her, but Maria uses hers when she's draw out wide and then goes CC, and its usually extremely powerful, so I think she hits it pretty well.

only two players perform this shot technically OK - Nadal and Sharapova.Yeah. Maria's is the only one that really stands out in my mind as being good.
Helicopter technique is never "technically OK" though. When Sharapova uses it (mainly due to how lazy her footwork is), a lot of the time it lacks depth and pace. And it's defintely not as good at redirecting the pace in the same vein as Davenport was.only two players perform this shot technically OK - Nadal and Sharapova.
And even they are not always successful...
