Pie has been too busy. She ought to have been taking rest instead of giving time to kids clinics, courtesy visits and opening social media accounts. Plus there was the small matter of BJK Cup, which they were never going to win in a hundred years. But our Pie is a generous Pie. :hysteric: :hysteric:

Peak aggressive hitting from Eva in the third, Rybakina could only watch and make errors :oh:

She likes to give a generous slice of herself to others.

I think excessive amount of time she is giving to her coach is the main problem.

She's so unclutch. A shame as she has played some very high level tennis this year at times

I am really 90% sure that Elena is past her peak now. I am not sure she will even win a another 1000 in her career, let alone reach another slam final. Her career trajectory starts to give me Pliskova vibes. What was supposed to be a great season with Ivanisevic on her side turned out to be not exactly awful all things considered, but still extremely frustrating.

Iga/Aryna/Coco already left her in the dust achievements wise and the gap will only further widen.

Rybakina needs some kind of reset ASAP or she's destined to be a one slam wonder, which is a crime.
And one has to remember how even that it was a crippled slam with no Putinists.

Anyway, a wonderful win for Eva, as she's now just one little step away from top50. Great year for her already.

Boom Boom Pie needs to sit down with her coach and lover Stefano Vukov to do a serious reset, otherwise her Big 3 compatriots Iga & Aryna will run away with all the Slam titles. Pie is already trailing 1-4-6 in Big 3 slam count, so she is in a hurry.
2025 year, and people still putting that Swiatek/Sabalenka/Rybakina crap, disrespecting real big3 member... Elena with her Wimbly Exho win might be big 3,5, though... Although both Kreji and Pegula have a case over her as well...

Lys deserved the win for her fighting attitude alone.
Really tenacious till the end, while Rybakina flopped like a flat pancake after nabbing that leading break in the third. Lys has a pretty strong return and excellent movement, really made Elena work hard in the rallies.

She reminds me of a mix of Lauren Davis and Cici Bellis in some ways, a big game in a small frame.

Yep. Time to let that go - she's nowhere near Swiatek and Sabalenka

Gauff is the only one with results to put her in thar conversation but she's been absolute crap this year outside of the clay season
