I keep wondering if Amanda will compete and be in the mix week after week. Or is she just going to peak for the very best events.
We’ve never truly seen her be in the mix constantly, and as I fan.. I’m hopeful, lol.

I was disappointed with her results in Montreal and Cincy, no reason she can’t make deeper runs at these 1000s. Hopefully she can do that here and in Wuhan

Tricky first match, but Anisimova looked pretty good. No rustiness, as I was expecting. Hopefully she will make SF at least.

 

Becoming a true top player. Serve and return looked pretty good even though first serve consistency wasn’t there. Face was scared to hit second serves to her so had many double faults. Just shows how good Amanda returning is at the moment.

 

When I say Boulter got DRAGGEDT, it was hard to watch lol.

 

Top 5 Anisimova is truly a new player given how she usually struggled in her first matches at any tournament. Plus Boulter has really fallen off in 2025 as a whole.

 

Really consistent and great ball striking from Amanda, I’m loving this new consistency from her.
