Nothing against Amanda, who's been having terrific season but I really wanted little Pao to win this one, especially after havin cought on livestream that she had a couple of BPs for 5-3 in the third.

Still - pretty great match and probably one of the best performances for little Pao this year. I really hope she can make it to the YEC.

Considering she balanced those errors with over 50 winners, and there were over 230 points played… 69 UE’s isn’t that shocking.

Great to see Amanda's good form continue. Paolini's cheating is disgraceful. There is no way she held her hand up before that serve.

 

I at least got to see the last of the match on replay. I came in for the 3rd set. I hated to see her calf wrapped up

Great battle thankfully Amanda pulled thru. Americans having a great tournament in Beijing capturing 3 of the 4 semifinal spots. When was the last time one country had all 4 semis spots in either a slam or a 1000 event? Anyone know?
