Bashing with quotes to back it up.

So often we get bashing on this board about this player being this or that, but rarely especially when people bash Venus, can they back up thier claims w/a quote. For example I've read countless post claiming the sisters(Venus and Serena) trash thier opponents, but have yet to see Venus quoted.

Example

"Maybe it's because of a lack of formal education" Serena Williams dogging out Martina Hingis

Venus... "????????????"

Don't hold your breath, Da forehand. Venus does not have time for petty shit.

Those who lump Venus and Serena together probably; can't tell the difference between the two(you know what that means), are too lazy to make the distinction, or they just don't care.

Dava, is that considered bashing? And who was that comment directed to? I'd be interested to know what prompted Venus to say that.

Well it sort of makes sense. It's like the Queen of England right? She is always composed, and regal and polite. If people ask the Queen of England: Is your Majesty comfortable? She won't say: yeah, I'm chilling !! She'll say: But of course.

Well, Venus is the Queen of tennis. She is polite and sticks to the protocol: no bashing.

Erm beating Lucic 6-0 6-0, but still you know to say someones a good player, when lets face it... I remember watching the PC and she said it very sarcastically.

C'mon irma, you disappoint me. Venus said Steffi's game isn't really a "grasscourt" game.

About the one sleeve thing she said something to the effect that that had been done some summers ago.

venus doesn't bash her opponents in public even against spirlea she said "if that's her opinion" but she still got the blame for the comments richard made

This is the exact quote:

I think that she's actually a good player, and if given the opportunity, she will get herself into the match. I wasn't especially keen on giving her those opportunities today.
