More Bad News For Babsi

Babsi and her partner Tina Krizan just lost a doubles match to Navratilova and Kuznetsova. I watched the whole thing. It went 3 sets. Babsi and Tina easily won the first set 6-1. Looked like they were going to breeze through the match. But Martina and Svetlana gradually turned things around winning that second set 7-5.
Poor Babsi got beaned twice in the back of the head HARD by Krizan. The first was on a 95 mph serve by Krizan. The second time Tina was returning a long serve, hit it kind of wide (but hard) into the back of Babsi's head.
Navratilova hurt her foot or ankle at the beginning of the 3rd set and had to call the trainer, take a medical timeout, etc. She limped for the rest of the match.
Saw something in that match I've never seen before. A footfault was called on the first serve of the first game of the match (on Krizan). Turns out she had quite a few footfaults called on her. And yes, she was given a ball abuse warning, or whatever it's called.
One more note about Babsi. She seems kinda frustrated these days. She was doing a lot of screaming in her singles and doubles matches. At one point in her singles she lost serve at 5-3 (her lead) and smashed ball as hard as she could trying to hit it out of the stadium. It didn't make it out. It landed on a walkway around the top of the stadium right where I was standing. I picked it up and considered keeping it - maybe getting Babsi to sign it later. But, I'm not a collector, so I eventually threw it back down onto the court.
