Babsi openly declared that she would cut back on her training regiment last season to keep her motivation for playing professional tennis. Apparently, she felt somewhat worn down and needed a more relaxed approach.

I don't know if she has been putting more effort into her game this year, but it sure as hell doesn't look like it. If this carries on, I fear she might be retiring at the end of the year.

In the words of Tom Petty:

Now I'm free

Ya I'm free

8 consecutive losses doesn't sounds good.
Babsi should get herself together, bounces back to where she should be.:)

Well, its sad. But I think, Babsi Schett is something like a One-year-wonder. She had one good season, where she reached number 7 in the rankings. I like her as person, but I don´t think, that she has the game to enter the Top 20 again.

It's 9 straight losses, not 8, and it goes back to Hobart.

I get the impression that Schett doesn't really care all that much. How old is she, 28? She's been on the tour like 12 or 13 years. So as long as she's not unhappy about the losing streak, why feel sorry for her? And it's not like she's been getting crushed every time out.
