According to her forum and the challenger thread Dokic has withdrawn from St. Paul

Looks like moving back to Australia hasn't helped to her at all. I wonder if retirement is likely?!

Unless she has a career threatening injury or the bubonic plague, that girl should have been on a plane to St. Paul. That was a STUPID move. This is the weakest 50K I've ever seen...the last direct acceptance for the main draw was a girl ranked #450. Asha Rolle, who isn't even in the top 150, is the #1 seed.

Jelena Dokic has received 2 WC's since she has been slumping (end of 2002 onwards). And I highly doubt that Leanne Baker would have won a game let alone a set off Julia Schruff. No point in giving it to a local player who is just going to embarass herself.
