Bad Day at the Office for GB Girls at Roehampton...

It is disappointing to see all but one of the GB girls lose in the 1R of qualifying for Wimbledon, I had higher hopes for Melanie South and Tara Moore after recent boasts to their rankings but Miss South's defeat especially was one sided, Moore has time on her side but South and Emily Webley-Smith who is now nearly 28 should surely think about alternative careers...

Lisa Whybourn is the only player through but its going to be tough for her to reach the main draw.

It looks like we have to look to Robson and Watson for the future once Keothavong and Baltacha retire and incidently, Baltacha could fall to fourth in the domestic rankings next week with Robson becoming the new British Number Two ahead of Watson at Number Three...
