Vera as expected won pretty comfy, took her 5 mins to win the two games she needed.

well done

Sveta was very impressive again but thats expected of her.

Sharky started slow, match was full of errors , both Maria and Jamea very quick of the mark but Maria has a bit more quality about her, ran Jamea ragged.

damn i jinxed Dubravca
match got on a bit earlier due to boys match finishing quick.
Dubravca was 4-0 up in 2nd and went onto win that 6-2. but lost her opening serve and was never in it after that.

Tatiana Golovin played not bad but had her shaky moments against Iryna but her greater weight of shot told in end.

Joanna Sakowicz blew it led 3-2 in 3rd with a break and lost last 4 games, just made too many errors.

Cory Ann Avants ..... was 1-5 down but went on to win 7-5 6-0.

Gisela was far too strong for Da-Jung, had a little too much power from the little i saw of that

Can you tell me a little about Ally Baker and Jamea's game. Jamea seemed to be in every game, but couldnt win the big points. Also, did Joana fall apart or did Ally lift her game.

Eggy, Maria is going to have to play much better if she is to avoid being crushed once again by the "Russian Wrecking Ball" Myriam Casanova. Right?

Myriam has grown up since the played in 2000, Maria is still a little girl so it will be hard, but I'm sure she will do better than on Saturday.

Ally v Joanna match, it was a bit of both really but Joanna did quite a few doubles near end when it got tight sadly for me
