It's always nice to see Gabriela winning titles. And the fact that she did it with cute Pavic doesn't hurt at all.

I love her (was so happy for her and Xu in Sydney!) but Gabi really played quite badly in this final... picked up her level in the 2nd set a bit, but seemed to be really having an off day for long stretches in the match. Easily the weakest of the 4 players.

Beautiful speech though, was sweet of her to mention Jarmila. I hope her performance wasn't injury-related or anything... would love to see her continue her doubles success this year!
