As usual : order of play and results... ;)

Results on Friday only of course, after matches have been played (not before ;) ).

If results arrive to me as the same time as for previous days, it should be available between 15:45 and 16:30 my time (GMT + 7).

As I know, there are 2 teams from group 1 Asia Oceania that promoted to world groups (playoff).

The Winner of match no 1 and no 2 (see bellow) will promote to WG Relegation.

1. Pool A Winner vs Pool B RunnerUp.
2. Pool B Winner vs Pool A RunnerUP.

So, Both INA and KOR still have chance to promote to WG, whatever the result of their match.

Pls, correct if any mistake.

According to Angelique Widjaja website, Indonesia leads Korea 1-0 after Angie beat Kim Mi-Ok 6-2, 6-1 in one hour. Congrats Angie.

I am just wondering why Korea did not play Mi-Ra Jeon instead of Kim Mi-Ok. Is it part of their strategies? Indonesia keeps playing Wynne and Angie in both single and double in every match, just afraid they'll too tired in the Saturday play-off :(

I just hope Mi-Ra isn't injured. :fiery:
That would be the worst thing. I don't want to seem paranoid, but I had a feeling something like this was going to happen.

Sorry but I have not received results yet  . It is possible that some events took longer than in the past days  .

There should have been some tough matches today.

I wonder if Korea did not consider safer to play Japan than China in tomorrow final play-offs, which is why Mi-Ra and Yoon-Jeong did not play singles today  .

Need to rush now. I am already late...

Wow,... I don't know what's going on.

I think China and Korea team wanted to lose,... they didn't use their best players.
But ironically, China won. :p

It's really interesting to see which team would advance to world group with these strategy.

danker : I was really worried when I saw your post regarding Mi-ra. But everything is clear,... Mi-ra should be healthy. I'm relieved. :D

Everything is very clear now. ;)

It looks like China and Korea saved their best players for tomorrow's play-offs, which was a very smart thing to do because they knew that they were already in the Top 2 in their groups.

However, Japan and Korea still have a chance to make the play-offs by winning their matches tomorrow.

I think Indonesia and Japan should have used their weaker players for today's matches. Angie, Wynne, Saori and Rika won't be as fresh tomorrow But since they're playing each other, it's not going to matter.

Congrats to Malaysia who for sure will play in Group 1 next year! :D
