"Before [the San Jose] final I didn't really expect this level from her," she recalled. "I knew that she is going to run well and she's going to put a lot of balls back, but I didn't expect that level and the balls will be that uncomfortable. Today before the match I knew it's going to be long rallies, it's going to be really tough and I just need to push myself through everything and just try to stay focused and calm.
