It's coming out on Friday and it's called A Walk To Remember and Mandy sings like 5 songs on the soundtrack. I remember when she first came out with Candy I thought she was kinda retarded but I've really liked her since she did MTV all last summer and Crush On You is such an awesome song.

My friend Liana is a huge fan of Mandy Moore and the show "Once & Again." When she heard about this movie, she started calling it the "Mandy & Eli Movie."

I became interested too when she told me that Mandy was playing a retarded girl whom Shane West falls in love with. I thought to myself, "Can Mandy pull that off? It'd be Academy Award-winning stuff if she could. And it sounds like a meaningful story too."

Liana went to see the movie (she lives in LA) and was shocked to discover that Mandy DID NOT play a retarded girl after all. However, she emailed me and noted: "Christian girl. Retard. What's the difference?" I e-mailed her back and wrote: "LOL. Liana, you shouldn't say things like that. You'll be sentenced to eternal damnation." She writes me back and says: "That's not such a bad thing. Mandy and Eli will already be there after THAT dog of a movie. But woof! Eli was sooooo hot! And Mandy had a voice to die for! I think I'll go buy it on DVD when it comes out."

I haven't seen the movie to judge, but this thread reminded me of Liana. hehe.

Aloysius sorry I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and stuff so I totally didn't get what you were talking about. I don't know who Shane West is and who Eli is but Mandy's totally awesome in it. I won't give it all away but it's so good and you'll cry too. I hope you go see it too and then and TennFreak and I could talk about it. Yay!
