Amelie's confidence went downhill in 2000, and since has played very few events. Not sure what her plans are, but hopefully she will attempt to come back because she is capable of being top 100.

Mariaan I am unsure but I think she may have retired from singles at least. Maybe still planning some doubles, but who knows. Shame she's always injured.

Surina I am pretty sure is injured right now.

Maria Antonia I believe has a back injury, she should be back soon with an injury ranking aswell.

Ruxandra I believe is healthy, and although there has not been an announcement, I won't be surprised if she has decided to call it quits unfortunately.

Mariaan is now assistant womens' tennis coach at Georgia Tech. She played WTT this summer. Might still have a few more seasons left in her.

Mariaan De Swart was just named Fed cup captain for the South African fed cup team. She will also be involved with player development.

Abigail gave up tennis to go to Uni.

another Brit giving up after a couple of years.

If they had a Uni system like in US where sports are included on a very good level then they wouldn't.

Alice Barnes is going off to study in US (Stanford) in the hope to keep her tennis going.

Julia Smith and one or two others may also follow.
