If you wanna see some very good tennis , i suggest you get down to Crandon Park , Ke Biscayne for the next 2 weeks

Next week is the Sunshine Cup for Boys U18 and the Girls U18 Connelly Continental Cup, its the U18 version of the DAVIS/FED Cup.

there you will see VERY good juniors and real stars of the future.

the following week is the Ericsson Orange Bowl with more stars of the future.

So if you are really missing tennis , don't let this oppurtunity slip you by.

I am moving to Miami Beach on the first, so i guess i will miss it.

I was wondering if anyone had info on volunteering at the Ericcson Open '02? If I can get the time off I think it would be really cool (but not as a ball kid, 34 is too old!).

MaryLinda, go to:
http://www.ericsson-open.com/
and click on Volunteer Information. You can print out an application, and it'll have all of the job descriptions. If you have questions, you can e-mail me

I've been volunteering for the past two years and will be doing in again in '02!

Thanks, TBE.. I couldn't find more information on it on the USTA's junior site. I just see info for junior nationals in Arizona. Can you direct me to a better site. I want to get the address, times etc...

~ Good luck MaryLinda on volunteering!

I'm a stadium ticket checker....I make sure anyone going to a box seat has a ticket (and the correct one). I worked the night shift (also the women's final....met the Williams family and Pam Shriver), and got to see some really good matches. I'll do the same next year!

I do believe you have to be over 18, but just to be sure, you can give them a call at (305) 365-3178.
They can also send you a description of all the positions that are open. Good luck!
