I really miss Tommy! I have not been able to find any info regarding his return from shoulder surgery. Does anyone know about when he is coming back?

Haas doubtful for Hamburg, comeback plans unclear
2003-05-02 15:46:15 GMT (Reuters)

MUNICH, May 2 (Reuters) - Germany's Tommy Haas, struggling to recover from shoulder surgery, will probably miss the Hamburg Masters Series later this month and deos not know when he can resume playing, he said on Friday.

"The shoulder is making progress but it is nevertheless unlikely that I will be able to play in Hamburg or in Duesseldorf," Haas told a news conference.

The Hamburg tournament runs from May 12 to 18 and the World Team Cup from May 18 to 24 in Duesseldorf.

Missing those events would make the 25-year-old, who had surgery in December and was told then that he may have to rest for six months, a doubtful starter for the French Open starting on May 26.

"At the moment I can't serve properly and can't play for more than 15 to 30 minutes," said the former top three player. "But I never thought that maybe I would not come back. I always think positive and I still have big goals for myself in tennis."

better skip the clay, tommy! Even if you are fit (doubt it) clay isn't the place to make a return
