I've been searching, and searching for the U.S. Open 1997 Semifinal match, between Venus Williams and Irina Spirlea, but have had no luck <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> Does anyone have a tape of that match that they'd be willing to let me buy or borrow. Not a theif or anything, just desperate for the video.

I have that match on tape plus the Venus CBS interview ans also it show when Irina in the interview room after the match where she calls Venus "the #%@@#$# Venus Williams. I mean she is never trying to turn or whatever." Irina's little speech is really funny.<br />After the match Venus jumps up and down at the net to celebrate but also I think to get Irina back for that bump.

This is my favorite Venus match even though Venus was not yet Venus back then.<br />The beads a cool to look at. She had in red, white and blue ones.<br />Also Venus' post match interview was funny.<br />"I'm superstoked!" Venus says. Also she tells Ricahrd to "say hi to the dogs."
