Helen attempted a comeback in early 1997, but then another brain tumor was discovered. She was supposed to make another comeback near the end of the year in Quebec, but it never happened. The last I have heard... she was giving lessons at a club as well as developing young canadian tennis talent.... She was also writing a column for a BC newspaper. I haven't heard too much about her though, but I am pretty sure she is still alive and well!
