It is time for Antonia to get her cheering thread as well.
This week she is playing her second 15K ITF and only third pro tournament of career in Monastir, Tunisia as a wild card.
Rd1: (WC) Antonia Ruzic def. (8) Alice Gillan 7-5 4-6 6-3
Rd2: (WC) Antonia Ruzic def. Aurora Zantedeschi 6-3 6-3
QF: (WC) Antonia Ruzic vs. (4) Anastasia Kulikova 2-6 3-6

Kulikova's gonna be too tough--but well done so far ?
You were right, Kulikova def. Ruzic 6-2 6-3
Still a good tournament because her opponent was 3 years older and also just made final of W15 Milovice last week where she lost to Kanepi 4-6 3-6.

W15 Monastir R1:
(WC) Antonia Ruzic def. (Q) Diana Chehoudi 6-3 6-2

Second round probably against first seed and if she would win that match probably Kulikova would await again.
Bad luck with draw.

No, she had qualified. iTF had not hated scores, but the Croatian tennis association posted about her win on Instagram.

Good luck in the main draw!

Antonia is playing strong J1 tournament in Morocco, Casablanca this week.
She did not have much luck with draw.
In first round her opponent is second seed Melania Delai from Italy, ranked 34 in juniors.
They played already once last year in J2 Benicarlo in R2 and Delai won 64 62.
Delai also won that tournament then.
We'll see if Antonia improved since then to make it more interesting this time.

Antonia did improve but still she lost 7-6(4) 3-6 4-6
Very close match, too bad about the draw.

Played very well today to beat Lukas, who appeared to be struggling with conditioning in the second set. Really impressed by how she went after the points on the return when she was up 5-4 in the first. No fear. Plays Mrdeza tomorrow

Well, after Ruzic lost in the first official match of post-pandemic season to already-injured Oliynykova - at her home court in Cakovec, on support of local club visitors, huge expectations & self-confidence - she needs to work a lot during exhibition tournaments to keep a crown of "new Croatian hope" :) :) :).
