She is not on the Bastad MD list as the last acceptance is no 94, but I'm quite sure she has entered and will most likely get in after some withdrawals..

I asked Nightcrawler for all 3 of those lists. I agree withn you though, it would be strange to play in Gstaad and then go to the States. And she has played in Sweden a lot in recent years :)

I guess afterwards she will go and play Montreal, and then I guess we'll just have to see what happens. The schedule is quite awkward if you're not playing the Olympics  She could play in Florianopolis (I doubt she's go and Vulture just 1 tournament in China), then take a week off, then play Cincinatti :) I guess we'll just have to see what happens with the North American Summer Swing

Nightcrawler has confirmed Mynx is #1 Alt for Båstad :) Looking at the draws both there and in Gstaad, if she transfers OK back onto Clay (she always seems to struggle in her first few matches back), she should be able to put on some points :)

So no Birmingham for Anett I guess..? since she is still competing in Nottingham.

Has Qualy sign-in passed? If I were her I would try and get a WC to the 50K in Ilkley. There's a chance she won't make MD in Eastbourne anyway so why not try and put on another 80 points this grass season.

Both are WTA events so not automatically.
When is Qualy Sign in? If that passes then she surely has to miss out because they are different grades. Do they really let girls play 2 matches in one day in 32 player draws?

In 3 minutes. Any WTA tournament is good enough for postponement.

I guess she knows better than us, but it seems silly to withdraw herself. If she gets bad draws she could win no matches after Nottingham :tape:

At this stage her schedule for the next few weeks is :)

30 January: -
6 February: Fed Cup
13 February: Altenkirchen 25K
20 February: WTA Budapest? 25K Moscow? If she plays Budapest she will be highly seeded in Qualies, especially if she wins the title today in Andreziuex-Boutheon.

Now that Hard Court Season is coming to an end, it's time for Anett's Clay schedule :inlove: At this point it is as follows:

17 Apr: Rest
24 Apr: Stuttgart Q
1 May: Prague Q
8 May: Madrid Q
15 May: Rest
22 May: Rest
29 May: Roland Garros MD

Personally, I'd like to see her skip Stuttgart and enter Nürnberg or Strasbourg instead. Stuttgart Qualies are very soon given her great run this week and with her family issues I think she were extra time to reflect and prepare for clay. Stuttgart is also not great RG preparation being Indoors, plus she will be in MD of Nürnberg/Strasbourg and theoretically 3 weeks rest between Madrid Qualies and RG MD seems like so much. Also, although she's shown that she is able to win a lot in Qualies, I feel like it is a waste of energy if she is doing it every week. We will see what she decides to do, but I think this small adjustment could do her a lot of good :cheer:

Anett is playing Rome according to a news article I read today, plus she is on the MD Alternates list :cheer: I'm glad that she is playing, a bit puzzling that originally she was said not to be  She'll definitely be getting a lot of matches on Clay and can certainly pick up some points in the process. Should will be seeded to qualify in Prague (and probably Stuttgart based on last year's draw), and will be seeded to make FQR in Rome and Madrid (or even to Qualify if she picks up points in Stuttgart and Prague). It would be nice to see her ranked high enough after Clay Season to really be in MD for all the rest of her tournaments, with the exception of some strong Premiers she might play.

Anett has Cagnes sur Mer as her first preference for the week of Madrid, but given she's already in the Madrid QD she'll have to play there  I think it's better at this stage for Anett to play WTA. She has shown this year she is able to consistently beat players ranked around and below her, now she needs to test herself against the best.

Really avoiding Britain this year, playing s-Hertogenbosch and Mallorca rather than Nottingham and Birmingham. It's not a bad decision actually, I'm a bit sick of her playing Qualifying all the time  I hope she enters both Eastbourne and the 16 player 100K+H, so that if she goes far enough in Mallorca that she can't play Eastbourne Qualies she can still pick up some points on Grass that week. That 100K is very attractive IMO, 4 matches to win 150 points is pretty similar to an International (4 matches for 180 points).
