Will be interesting to see where she will be ranked when grass season starts. She has only less then 120 points to defend before June.

Anett hit a Career High of #86 on Monday. She will hit a new high of #84 or #85 next Monday depending on Watson's performance in Hobart this week :)

Anett is the 6th highest ranked U21 behind Bencic, Keys, Witthöft, Kasatkina and Ostapenko. With a good run at AO, even maybe one win, she could very well overtake Ostapenko and Witthoeft, and Kasatkina with 2 wins :)

New Career High of #85 :inlove: She is #83 on the post AO rankings but unless she upsets Muguruza she will definitely move down the rankings. Should stay Top 90 I think.

I have updated the rankings for last week :) As we can see, Anett not playing means she now has quite a few really low scores on her ranking (she only has 18 events actually), so she is in a really good position to make gains :)

Next week's live rankings are as follows:

Anett will gain points from Nottingham and lose 29 from Surbiton. TBE has her with 1 extra point, but I think he must have made an error as it is a straight swap so no 17th events come in :) Another interesting thing is that even if Anett gains no points between now and USO, if she loses in R1 she would still be #126  :) And that is very very very unlikely to happen :yeah:

Injuries can happen out of the blue:eek:

If she could win a match at Wimbledon, it'd cover Ilkley, so it would be good. But knowing her luck, she'll draw Kvitova or grass-Pironkova:lol:

I hope she'll be good enough to have a deep run somewhere, and won't be falling out of top 100.

Unless she gets a major injury or has terrible draws in her upcoming events, I find it hard to believe she will fall out of Top 100 even after USO. She has nearly no points to defend now that Surbiton and Eastbourne are off, and although 280 points seems like a a lot, a couple of WTA QFs really takes the heat out of the blow. She is also playing a busy schedule which is good to see :)

As we can see, the points here are spread very evenly. If Anett can perform well in Slams, which she always has done to be honest it's just many of her draws have been atrocious, she can definitely push on towards Top 50. Even just a 2nd round at every slam would have her at #50 :spit: Anett should also go up to match her career high next week unless Hibino's vulturing is very succesful in China :cheer:
