So happy for her. Off-court she's having a harder time but looks like on court she's a beast atm. Same as last week, tough SF and F ag. ex-top200 players Kolar and Klaffner but she bulldozed them, dishing out three breadsticks in four sets :worship:

She should be going off to college in January so let's hope she continues her ITF run next summer :cheer:

Andreea is offering an inspiring story to the World again, winning her first 2 titles after losing her Mom. I’m sad and happy for her at the same time.

Moved to Antalya and still going strong. Got a hard draw against a young top25 junior Rakhimova, another ex-top25 junior Turati and today she also upset 2nd seeded Lechemia (#446), all in tough three setters.

Another very hard match tomorrow ag. the 3rd seed and fellow 18y.o. Chernyshova (#451). Thankfully the match will be on the stream (from 10:00am local) so we'll be able to finally watch Andreea play in the pros :cheer:

An article about Andreea with some quotes from her came out today. She really had such a hard period with the injuries and now losing her mom as well   Still this give her renewed motivation to play tennis and become a top player. Even plans on not going through with the scholarship to TCU, in order to keep playing ITF circuit and applying to a University in Romania instead.

I hope she doesn’t drop out of TCU.
Idk exactly what the schedule for a student athlete is, but I think she should have been on campus by now... but she's still playing in ITF and still going strong. Another 15k title last week and maybe more important, with some really quality wins :yeah:

Andreea won another 15k ITF in Tunisia.
It appears that she’s camped there as she’s playing another tournament this week.
She’s now ranked in top 500, career high spot.
I hope she starts making a living from tennis soon.

Final + dubs title last week... and another singles title this week in Tunisia :yeah:
The tunisian 15k's were visibly weaker than the strong one she won to start the year in Antalya, but still she had some solid wins against former top300 players like Grymalska, Remondina, Halbauer and Chieh-Yu Hsu :)

Two weeks in Antalya = two titles for Andreea :worship: First week dubs title (+ SF in singles) and this week she got her 6th singles title. Had two solid straight sets wins over former top300 players, Strakhova in SF and former junior #2 Flink in the final :yeah:

With this win she should also be inside top400 for the first time. Plus in the shadow rankings for the "transitional tour" she should be somewhere really at the top, at least top 5
