Entry 1

Ajde and Hello! And welcome to my amazing official thread, the place to come for all things Ana!

So basically the first season has ended and it was exhausting! I played a whopping 41 tournaments plus Fed Cup! But it was still an amazing season, I won Wimbledon, the season-ending championships and formed part of the hottest doubles team in WTL, of course, the one and only Glamour Girls! Along with tour superstar Maria Kirilenko.

The highlight of the season had to be the grass, before the grass season I was barely winning matches in tournaments, let alone back-to-back matches, things finally came together though, and I won three tournaments including Wimbledon! Of course the other highlight was teaming up with MK to win two doubles titles and in general rule the tour, a few of the other playes have a hang-up regarding the GGs, but I'm not one to name names Medina Garrigues/Williams brothers/Olga Poutchkova RIP/Some scrub named Moore but for the most part the players love the GGs, especially Tatiana Golovin, Ashley Harkleroad, who are pretty glamourous themselves! And Casey Dellacqua, not so glamourous, only kidding Case!

So now the season is over, before I can take my vacation in the Carribbean, I have to attend the WTL awards, which are taking place this week, check out the news page to see all the awards I won if I win!

Until next time, zbogom!!

11/7/08 - Ivanovic and Djokovic disappoint at Hopman Cup

Wimbledon champion Ana Ivanovic and fellow Serb Novak Djokovic failed to impress at the Hopman Cup exhibition in Perth to celebrate the start of season 2 of WTL. Serbia, seedeed first, failed to win a single match and fell to a disasterous 0-9 record, Ivanovic blamed a lack of preparation hangover and jetlag for her poor performance. The event was won by the USA, who beat Germany in the final.

24/6/08 - Ivanovic named grass-court player of the year at WTL awards

Wimbledon champion Ana Ivanovic was named gras-court player of the season at the first annual WTL awards earlier today, the Serbian world #3 compiled an impressive 17-2 record on the lawns this season and was a heavy favourite for the prize, she also came second in the players' favourite and most fashionable player categories. Maria Kirilenko, Tatiana Golovin and Casey Dellacqua were some of the other big winners on the night.

At least I won a title each in both games(1 doubles title in WTL and a singles one just recently in ATT).:p

Of course I won't be good in EVERY GAME. I haven't won a title in 3 games.;) At least I'm generally good in games to be exact.
