Re: Alicia's 2005 Results Thread

oh my God this is FUCKING old thread !!!

Maleeva :haha:
Time to revive it :)
Poor Alicia has had a rough time the last few weeks - losing to Jackson, King, Peer and now in the 1st rnd of quallies. But she just needs the matches under her belt. Histroy shows that Alicia plays best with a huge amount of training behind her. So a couple of months off during Xmas to train and lose the little bit of weight she's carrying will do her no harm. Wouldn't be surpirsed is she does a 'sam' and comes out burning in January.

Wonder if she'll play the playoff to get some extra matches.

Since Alicia has virtually no points to defend until the French Open, she should certainly be able to scratch her way back into the top 40 or even better before her Special Entry benefits run out.

After Indian Wells, her singles ranking of is likely to rise another ten spots to 55 or maybe better.

pretty dismal loss to ivanovic, but alicia did very well to beat two quality players in rezai and medina-garrigues.
