Why can't she bet on herself?:ROFLMAO:
Back in the 50s and 60s, male players used to make good money betting during Wimbledon.
The players back then knew far more than the bookies, and they would clean up.
The bookies, who knew next to nothing about tennis, would set their odds simply by the ranking numbers.
When the pros would see the bookies with odds favoring a top ranked clay court play over a lower ranked but good grass court player, the pros would eat the bookies alive.
They can't do that anymore as the bookies have tennis specialists setting the odds.

Sad but not surprising from things I’ve heard. Anyone have any idea on what happened to the case with Palkina and Khabulina?
Naydenova has been provisionally suspended since December 2019 and only got her verdict now. So seems these investigations and decisions do take quite a bit of time. Palkina and Khabibulina have been suspended since Nov 2019, so hopefully we see a decision for them soon.

well it happens so often and it is also often quite obvious. I really wonder why the ITF is not investigating more of the matches.

Good example - Alica Rusova d. Celia Cervino Ruiz in R1 at the 15,000$ event in Heraklion this week. Betting odds were highly suspicious - and so was the result

She's from Plovdiv which actually is pretty well off economically... except for the infamous Stolipinovo district, the biggest gypsy ghetto in Europe.
Plovdiv is indeed a beautiful, vibrant city. It felt like a normal european city to me when I was there.

I kinda liked her, too bad she turned out to be a fixer. Not that it is of any relevance in this context but she speaks flawless Spanish.

Spanish tennis player Enrique Lopez-Perez has been banned for 8 years for match-fixing. He was provisionally suspended at the end of last year like Naydenova and both were also mentioned in phone calls of Marc Fornell-Mestres, an alleged link to Armenian betting mafia, who is provisionally suspended since 2018. Majed Kilani, another name from the list below, was banned for 7 years in June. It looks like all the cases are connected to the same investigation in Spain.

So the only other female besides Naydenova is Nuria Brancaccio - was she banned? She recently played. She did not compete from Decemberr 2018 until June 2019 however

For life????? WTF
Daniel Koellerer was banned for life,,,so they should get the same sentence. 1000 euros for throwing a game, 5000 for throwing a match, being the paid agents of the Armenian mafia who also deal in illegal arms sales, people trafficking and drugs smuggling..the ITF circuit in particular is totally compromised if this is not stamped out. No wonder there was this recent plan to cut the events. That may have failed but the economic crisis caused by Covid seems to have done an even more thorough job so far...

One thing I noticed about 2015-2019 as opposed to her earlier career...she never got into any ITF final above $10k level before 2015, 2015-2019 she reached the finals of three $25ks and a $60k, one is S America and three in China, so if she was tanking, she was failing, because she hit her highest ever ranking of 218 in September 2019 and was ranked 239 at the time of her suspension. She only ever played 1 GS quali because she was too low ranked most of the time to get into them and I think she only got into that Birmingham Q because someone pulled out.
She did make the Australian Open doubles draw one year by the skin of her teeth. I think the Williams sisters pulled out at the last minute and Naydenova was randomly on-site and got in with Pereira.

Miss Aleksandrina doesn't seem to be bothered that much by the decision #YOLO

Her face, lol. Those duck lips surely cost some $, but she's likely already earnt enough money with her match fixing to live her luxurious lifestyle for a while.
