why does everyone think Linds will beat Kim? Anything I missed? Davenport will have to bring her A+ game than brought her to slam titles to beat Kim IHMO

The problem for Lindsay is that Kim is fast enough to get to her shots, but Lindsay isn't fast enough to get to Kim's.

Before 2002, Kim wasn't strong enough to make Lindsay run, now that she is, Lindsay can not beat her really...

Its all about Davenports game to decide wether she wants to win or not. Match point was even decided by an easy overhead error by Lindsay.
Lindsay was dictating all over the match, Kim was just too patient and determined to get it back and just hoping to Lindsay commit an error and she succeed.

I have nothing against Kim coz she is my fave too, but I still believed Linds is better in every department if she just read her manuals again.

I think that right there sums up Lindsay's problem with Kim. For some reason when Lindsay plays Kim she just goes for way too much, she tries to paint the lines..which is rarely a winning tactic..unless you're really on

I feel Kim's speed sort of intimidates Lindsay..cause it brings her out of her game..IW Lindsay was great in the semi's against Cappy! but when she hit Kim..she wasn't too impressive. Recently the few times she's played Kim it seems to have been like that.
