If I were Justine I would be concerned..she came pretty close to losing to a big groundstroker with not much of a serve...now she's playing a big groundstroker with a big serve.
It's not just a case of big groundstroker weak server.
Elena is the fastest runner on the tour, she has a bigger forehand than Nadia, she has more variety, a better return, and she can be very dangerous when she's not making many errors.

As usual, Justine is waaaay overrated ;)

Well, who would have said she would win on hardcourt in Dubai beating Seles, Capriati and Myskina?

Come on Justine, prove them all wrong :)
The word you're looking for is "underrated"! ;)

Volcana automatically assumed Clijsters HAD to have the cakewalk draw, and assumed Davenport/Rubin was in Henins side.
LOL! That was great! :)

As long as Dementieva had legs to run yesterday, Justine had no say in the match and was completely outplayed. It's not my opinion. It's Justine's. Read her interview. Petrova is every bit as good as Dementieva, except that now she will have an advantage of fresher legs, because she had a cakewlk match yesterday, and she has no problem ( unlike Dementieva ) with jetlag consequences, because she is already more than two on West Coast.
Then why is Justine leading the head-to-head 2-0, and why doesn't Nadia win slams or beat Clijsters, Davenport, the Williams sisters etc.?

I believed she started to believed she could really go up there whe she bt Venus in RG. She really have all the strokes, she just have to do it.
OK, she didn't beat Venus in Roland Garros.
You worry me...

why does everyone think Linds will beat Kim? Anything I missed? Davenport will have to bring her A+ game than brought her to slam titles to beat Kim IHMO
The problem for Lindsay is that Kim is fast enough to get to her shots, but Lindsay isn't fast enough to get to Kim's.

Before 2002, Kim wasn't strong enough to make Lindsay run, now that she is, Lindsay can not beat her really...

I wonder if you saw their last match at IW.
Its all about Davenports game to decide wether she wants to win or not. Match point was even decided by an easy overhead error by Lindsay.
Lindsay was dictating all over the match, Kim was just too patient and determined to get it back and just hoping to Lindsay commit an error and she succeed.

I have nothing against Kim coz she is my fave too, but I still believed Linds is better in every department if she just read her manuals again.
Even the footwork department?
