Lost a bit of respect for Dubois there, only 4 more points and you retire? Girl you've been playing all match with that injury don't ret 1 game from the end.

Dubois has always been classless. Ever since that 'win' over Clijsters a few years ago. That video of her crying in the stadium being interviewed and the bragging about it in the van :lol:. For the record Dubois won something like 1-6 4-3 ret.

Dubois has been in Canada's top two for 5-6 years now so her Olympics qualification is understandable.
Still, Pelletier is winning doubles titles all over the World and got the snub. Weird.

Well to be fair I don't think Steph was crying cuz she had "beaten" Clijsters, I think it was more the fact that she was reaching the 3rd round of the RC, it was a big moment for her. Of course if she feels that she BEAT clijsters it's rather delusional but I doubt it's the case here. As for her Olympics nomination it's not a bad choice, it's a logical choice. Of course MEP might have been a better choice and it sucks for her cuz she's gonna retire after this season but she wouldn't have a better chance at medals I think. I suspect the ITF to want to have a better single player so if there's a Withdrawal they could fill the place with a good double partner. Steph is then a better choice than MEP for sure, specially on grass.

I still stand by my assertion Dubois is a terrible representative to be sending by Canada to partner Aleks in doubles. We should be sending someone with proven doubles skills and experience. Pelletier or Fichman.

That match was very good I was really surprised about the way Eugenie was playing Really good quality and with that way she is playing she should reach the Top 100 in no time

Last year I saw her against Petkovic in Toronto and she just played solide. She really improved her game!
