Stearns could be a good pick up for Stefani, has the power from the back of the court that Stefani lacks but I’m curious as to whether Peyton intends to play a full doubles schedule. Last year she only played 10.

Melichar-Martinez with Babos? Feels like a downgrade to me in spite of Babos’ former successes. What I’ve seen from her in more recent times has been pretty poor, at best low level 250 event calibre.

Quite surprised to see Mertens and Perez pair up, probably an upgrade for Ellen but Mertens really couldn’t find someone stronger? Not convinced on this one but I guess we shall see.

Glad to see Mertens and Hsieh split, definitely lost the plot together after a good start to the year. Maybe Hsieh is going to play a rather limited schedule. Re-pair with Wang perhaps?
