Not surprising given the ranking points situation, Bouchard withdrew today as she's in the same situation as Birrell, Hives & McPhee. Wouldn't be shocked to see a bunch of last-minute withdrawals from people waiting and hoping there'll be a late change of mind regarding points...

Was very surprised Zoe did so well as hadn't looked too good in her comeback, that was a nice surprise.

Very clutch play from Pri, Maddy, Jaimee & Astra.

De Vroome was really thumping the ball and super fired up... Maddy really saved all those set points with some very clutch shots.

I'm sure they'll appreciate the money, especially those 24 and over, and hence fending for themselves.

Now that Wimbledon has started, I am really gutted these girls won't receive points. I really thought the WTA would reach some agreement, shame. Hives is using a PR here, I don't believe that should count towards her total she can use. Seems very unfair when they are designed to get your ranking back up after injuries.

Great result for Pri with a 6-2 6-4 win over top seed Volynets! Zoe is also up 6-0 over Vickery, and a win would guarantee an Aussie qualifier because Hon plays the winner of that match

Astra & Jaimee are also up a set in their matches too
