Lots of top players did not sign up for this week. There are only 16 players (5 in Nurenburg) from the top 50 so one can expect the wild cards being used if high ranked players bomb out early.

A bit strange that Pome isn't returning after that great final last year.

But why Tadde here and not in Nuernberg... and not in Fed Cup for Germany...
Maybe she is playing here bc her husband is French and she has pretty good relationships with the French players ..... agree though, it is odd
Not sure why she isn’t at fed cup
They don’t play her for years, she has stepped up over he last few years when the top players have opted out - so hope in some ways she is either injured or opted out herself for whatever reason
If have her before alg

I am sick and tired of seeing Stosur getting a WD or "just in" as it seems the fact she won ONE grand slam allows her to gallivant around the world getting wild card after wild card and no one hold her accountable for her results. IT IS A DISGRACE!

Well, obvious some people don't feel the same way about wild cards the way I do, but hey, if they wanna give Stosur wild card after wild card, and watch her lose first round after first round - well hey, more power to you. But to tell me to get professional help, why not take a look at the current rankings and then decide who needs the help.

Oh I need help? Really? Look at her performance in 2019 and you tell me who needs to see a therapist. In the case of therapist, she needs to either hire a new coach or go back to Australia and go do TV broadcasting with her GOOD FRIEND Stubbs. They make a fine couple don't they?
