Btw, What is the Rules about play in Olympics game, does ex. Caroline need to play or if she travel to Poland and be in the team but not playing, can she and others so play in the O games in Japan in 2020, if they also play in Fed Cup next year? or what does the Rules say? , as we speak about in a Danish FB Group...
She must part of the final nominated Fed Cup team at the time of the draw and present at the tie on a minimum of two occasions during the Olympic Cycle, provided that one of those occasions is in either 2019 or 2020.

So, going by the rules she must be part of the team and travel tot he site both this year and next year.

Poland - Best possible team. But I miss Piter and Ula ...
Russia - No Sharapova, Makarova, Rodina. But at least Kasatkina, Pav and Potapova.
Estonia - Poor Anett. She is so strong and the rest of the team so weak ...
Bulgaria - Best possible team. I wish them luck.

I still can't get the decisions of the Bulgarian captain... She never calls Aleksandrina Naydenova who is a top 100 player on doubles. Since we are talking about female sports I can imagine some personal quarrels and problems and it's probably not far from the truth but still considering the overall low level of the team and the general importance of doubles match in case of a parity after the first two matches, it's a decision I simply cannot understand.

I would like to ask someone from Poland who has information on the matter. I wrote an email to the website abilet.pl asking for the daily tickets whether will become available online. I was told that they will be sold after 15-th January but right now the website says that something that I consider meaning they will only be available at ticket offices located at place of the event and not online.

Could you also explain what the latter sentence means. Thanks :)

DENMARK
1 Caroline WOZNIACKI 11.07.1990 3

Caro's dad now says "She has said yes, she will play" may mean she will goto Poland, but he also said ''she may not play down there...''

If that make sinze, but not sure she will play, depends on her sickness...

Looks like "she will play" in regard to olympics eligibility and she won't play at all actually. Sickness is good for that, unpredictable and all that stuff. Shame.

Well, I guess it would be hard for her to play against Poland in Poland so she might just play against Russia, lose the tie and not play against the country of her parents.
