Sad to see such a weak team for Moldova. Stamat and Perper have been playing non-stop all year, can't see why they couldn't devote a week to their country.

Luxembourg and Greece seem like the obvious faves, but I wouldn't rule out an upset from Norway.

There is as always drama with Moldova  First of all Perper, Ciobanu, Sosnovschi, Porubin and Tishchenko send an open letter accusing the TA of changing the team captain and the selection criterias, in order to benefit Iulia Helbet who is the daughter of a vice-president of the TA. This all then lead to an altercation in which allegedly Ciobanu's father was assaulted by Helbet's father, who btw claims the other players refused to play so they didn't have other options to make this team.

Not surprising tho since they are russians. Perper for example doesn't even speak the language of her country... they need to add subtitles when she gives interviews for TV.

I'm not sure what to expect from Denmark but they'll probably be happy to stay in group II.

Their players have shown some good form though. 15-year old Clara Tauson defeated Luxembourg's Molinaro in a junior final yesterday. And Maria Jespersen, who otherwise hasn't played a pro-match since 2014 just won two 15K doubles titles in a row with Emilie Francati.

Tauson won but i have to say that their level should be very close, probably it just depends which form is better on that day to determine a winner. Hopefully we will see the revenge in Greece :) Molinaro just won G2 in Cap D'Ail.

Danmark endte i indledende pulje med Egypten og hjemmeholdet Grækenland ved Fed Cup. En fornuftig lodtrækning, da Danmark dermed undgår favoritterne fra Grækenland i en eventuel oprykningskamp.

Pool A: Denmark, Greece and Egypt

Pool B: Norway, Bosnien-Herzegovina, Luxembourg and Israel

Hello, I would like to buy a ticket for the event on Saturday but it has already been sold out. Is there anyone who has a ticket and will not use it?
