Thanks.

One question: I see Tatishvili in the entry list ranked #107, while she is officially ranked #646.
I assume she is using her Special (protected) Ranking.

Now where is possible to find who is entitled to use a SR, what is this rank, and for how long?
Is this an information available somewhere?

For example i guess that Karin Knapp can still use her SR, but for how many times, and what is this rank?
Belinda Bencic, when she will return, what SR will have?

Who else?

Wozniak with MDWC. She will be present at the draw ceremony tomorrow, so she certainly won't be playing in Qs.

Is anyone picking this up? Someone says it's not on the WTA TV thing, BT Sport in UK are showing Japan but not this despite showing 3 tournaments next week. I know a betting company are also streaming the Japan event but no mention of this. Despite the key withdrawals there are still a few I'm interested in seeing her and to me, is still just about a better line up than Japan (although won't be to many)

A publicly available Special Ranking list would give rise to speculation on a long absent player without a SR. It should be highly confidential.

Therefore, we cannot assume Knapp and Bencic has applied or re-applied for SR.

Bencic has entered Tashkent (Sep 25 to 30) qualifying with the latest ranking 200. If she did play in Tashkent she will be no longer meet the six-month mandatory out-of-competition period.
If she applies SR and resumes playing in Oct, her SR would be that she obtained in the last tournament (Biel) she played. The singles SR should be 129 which could be used 8 times within a normal period of one year. Her doubles ranking was too low (451) to be qualified for a SR with minimum requirement of 200.

If Knapp has re-applied to freeze the SR, the ranking should probably be those on Sep 14 2015, singles SR 45, doubles SR 50.

"... regardless of any “freeze,” a player’s Special Ranking expires no later than the date that is three (3) years after the beginning of her original out-of-competition period."

The number of times a player could use her singles as well as doubles SR is difficult to describe.
