Format

Round-robin basis. Two pools of 4 teams (Pools A & B).

The winner of each pool will play-off against the number two team in the other pool (A1 v B2 and B1 v A2) to determine which two nations will advance to Europe/Africa Zone Group I in 2018.

In the relegation play-offs, the teams that finished third in each pool will play-off against the nation finishing fourth in the other pool (A3 v B4 and A4 v B3). The two losers will be relegated to Europe/Africa Zone Group III for 2018

Slovenian team actually look strongest on paper but you never know with our players in FED Cup. :shrug:

Sweden vs Slovenia should be interesting, while Luxembourg should win the other group with Minella.
The top two in the groups go to the promotional playoffs anyway, so Sweden and Slovenia should top the first group and Luxembourg with the other one. In the end, Luxembourg will then have to face either Sweden or Slovenia, so they are the unlucky ones here.

Ah alright. :D Thought the top team of each group would simply be promoted. :)
