Austria with the strongest team all round, but Denmark has Wozniacki.

Lithuania :tape: bye.

Since Slovenia withdrew, there is only 7 teams here.. Will that mean 3 teams will have to be promoted from Group III or will there be forever 7 teams now.

Last time there was seven teams, two teams still relegated. Next year there was two promoted teams + Norway that did not even reach the promotional play-off in zone III, but had the best Fed Cup ranking.

Grage is out and replaced by Julie Noe.

So only one gets relegated?

Anyways. Well played on our part to name Piia as Number 1 ;)
No, two are relegated. The nation finishing fourth in the pool and loser of the play-off between third teams.

She is the highest ranked Finn, so she is automatically number one.

Piia and Emma are not injured. Both are out for personal reasons. Emma wd because Egypt is not safe country for white women.

Näiden pohjalta Kansainvälinen Tennisliitto on tehnyt päätöksen tapahtuman järjestämisestä Kairossa.

Suomen ulkoministeriö suosittelee varovaisuutta Kairossa liikuttaessa, ja tämän vuoksi joukkue majoittuu tapahtumapaikan läheisyydessä ja välttää ylimääräistä liikkumista tapahtuma-alueen ulkopuolella.
Emma Laine quote from that. I hoped ITF moves FedCup to another country. As it did not, I have to withdraw from this years FedCup.

edit2: Team is not allowed to move anywhere but to hotel to courts and back

Pool A: Finland, Lithuania, Denmark
Pool B: Liechtenstein, Egypt, Austria, Bosnia/Herzegovina
Thanks

Pool B is loaded

A very tough draw for Egypt

I am 100 % sure that Austria will be promoted

And the other team should be Liechtenstein or Bosnia/Herzegovina

Pool A is ridicolous. Even the team which ends up on last place in B should beat everyone from A :hysteric:
