Due to the nature of this lower level of competition, many of the teams selected may not compete and other non-mentioned teams may decide to compete but based on the information I have and the fact that the event is still a way away, this is the best I could do.

* BOLD means that a player has officially confirmed their participation.

Estonia should get promotion with Kaia and Anett in squad.

With Kaia and Anett at there best they would be competitive in WGI :sobbing:

BTW, the 15K the week after will hopefully mean a better field for both the ITF tournament and Fed Cup :)

Ulrikke Eikeri will probably play for Norway...

Malou :inlove: Hope she plays. Denmark was so close to promotion last year...:tears:

Maybe you should check your source before your statements...
http://www.fedcup.com/en/players/player/profile.aspx?playerid=100084088#
She only didn't play last year due to injury.
She has become based in America more recently since she finished her Juniors (and yes I know she wasn't a Junior in 2012 but she hadn't made the decision to go across yet).
Also, it is Group III now and kinda in the middle of nowhere in terms of scheduling so if she played I would be very surprised. So maybe you should use logic before your statements :)

To your previous post.
Btw, she barely played in US until october 1992 (I mean pro ITFs ofc).
You mean 2012 right? And that's what I said and thats the reason I put forth for her playing Fed Cup before that... She hadn't made the move yet... I don't know where she is based exactly but I presume Florida

still "She has never played Fed Cup" is a wrong statement.
I actually said "she never plays fed cup" which puts forth a less literal meaning that she plays rarely: I know she didn't play last year partly because of Injury and I know before that she did play but given she has played tournaments in over a year and she doesn't even live in Norway I find it very hard to believe she would to go Tallinn to play in EAIII where the only logical next tournament would be a 15K which I doubt she would want to play.

I doubt Eleni will play since its Group III and we can gain promotion without her and she hasn't played since 2011, but then again the only other time Greece played Group III was 2009 and she played for us after 4-5 years of skipping Fed Cup ;)

The team will probably be something like: Despina Papamichail, Maria Sakkari, Valentini Grammatikopoulou, and Agni Stefanou

Vogasari and Kordolaimi likely won't play since they are playing college tennis in the US ;)

Also I don't know if Grammatikopoulou is on good terms with the federation, so if she skips, then Angeliki Kairi or Martha Matoula will play ;)

Teams have been updated as the Fed Cup Website has put forth their official announcement :)

hellas, I did not know about Vogasari at college so I think your predictions seem appropriate :) IMO Greece is the only country that Estonia needs Kaia to beat :)

Vogasari was on the door of the top 500 and she was still 17 but she decided to go to college in the US instead and she wants to turn pro when she graduates....
