UF, UVA and Yale  advanced 2 to the final round of PQs. All seeds were eliminated except #16 Stephens from Ole Miss.

Tomorrows matches:
Shine (LVL) vs Seideman (YALE)
Collins (UF) vs Begley (TEX)
Borthwick (FLA ST) vs DeSimone (USC)
McPhillips (UCLA) vs Peretz (UVA)
[16] Stephens (OM) vs Burgic (BAY)
Yu (YALE) vs Craig (UTAH)
Seaborne (IOWA) vs Janowicz (UF)
Elbaba (UVA) vs Nichols (TCU)

Guessing all of the freshmen will advance. The other 4 matches may be more interesting. Seaborne with the shot to beat both Cercone and Janowicz in the preseason. It's like she still plays for FSU

still not revised;

How can Kyle play sgls and dbls at the same time, 9am? :help:
Janowicz and Collins both advanced with wins today
Janowicz and Collins both advanced with wins today
Yale also won both and DeSimone "upset" freshman Borthwick...I'm starting to think USC might be my preseason #1.

Elbaba continues to look scary good; she's lost only 4 games total in 3 matches here to go along with her domination of the UVA Invite.

I wonder when the Q draws will be out?

And Borthwick was very impressive..DeSimone's wins at NCAA wasn't a fluke.

Posted today's recap on my blog as usual.
I wonder when the Q draws will be out?
Maybe we can expect a rainbow-colored final version late in the day

Only you and me posting :sobbing: Is it because of the absence of Stanford players playing so far
There was a Stanford t-shirt present though
uploaded low quality pics on my blog, videos..will naturally take a while.
On the official website, Preview says Capra is absent but Selections still has her on the list.

Katie Le will be a real test for Julia, because yesterday;

Gold ITA Singles -- Semifinals

CAL Zsofi Susanyi[1] d. SC Katie Le[4] 6-2;5-7;6-3
Freshmen managed to avoid each other in Q sgls draw, too bad. They all have reasonable chance to reach the MD, we'll see.

Agree. Le-Elbaba is the first round I am most curious about. Kind of a shame because both probably deserve to qualify based on what they've shown so far this fall.

Does anyone know if there will be any live updates from Riviera? I guess the Twitter was only for PQs?
Elbaba d. Le 64 60  I had a feeling Julia's game would translate very well to college. Interested to see how she does against Morton next.
Trice is here, so I think she plays.

Trice is OUT of Singles, but is playing Doubles with Mar. CSQ is thus the #1 seed.

(3)Embree vs Cako is probably the highlight of round 1.

Of course the draw also features: Zoe Scandalis (4) Florida
What a boring draw. Don't even care who wins it.
I thought Cako was done with college?!
I did too, saw a comment on a pic of hers and someone said being an official pro. Guess she was wrong lol
Cako reconsidered after the summer tournaments. Left her options open I guess. ASU is lucky to have her back.
Looks like Elbaba drew CSQ. That should be interesting.

Zoe vs UF? I don't understand
And yeah, didn't think of THAT scenario, Trice just paying dbls, I guess the Event Preview IS right, literally

Liar, if you didn't care you wouldn't even bother to post :oh: Or do you hate this draw so much
