OMG! I never realised that well spotted Goal Post! IMO there's no reason why Jen cant win RG IF she plays aggressive and not always on the deffence!

Well I feel that in all the interviews I read of Jens, she always says, the main thing I aim for are the Grand Slams. I think, if that match against Mauresmo was a slam match Capriati would of taken one of those 4 set points and taken the match. Due to Mauresmos home country pressure I feel she would of faulted, but thats all if and buts now.

Anyway, Jens fitness is alot better now, she been playing these tight three set matches against top 10 players without full fitness, but its really coming back now. So, if she can do them without full fitness and just fall short, then think what she can do with full fitness.

"I've got to do more and come out from the start," said Capriati afterwards. "I've just got to do more on those opportunities. I definitely could have done things a little bit differently – been moreaggressive and stepped up to the ball."

Have faith in her, it sounds as if she knows what to do. I mean, she played defense throughout the second set and toke it to a tie break, with more agression could of been more straight forward for her.

You're right. Jennifer really would've taken to Amelie had this been a grand slam! Just look at what she did to her at Wimbledon and the US open! Oh wait...

i don't really see much in common with 2001 and 2003 so far.

Jen's fitness is better now? who says?

I don't see any resemblance between 2001 and 2003. Capriati usually loses in 3 sets!

Sorry but Capriati has a very small chance to win RG ... in 2001 she was reaching finals, had won AO and Charleston b4 she won RG. She was very confident. In 2003, she only has reached 1 finals so far and is titeless since AO 2002. And confidence-wise, she's probably not up there ...

She could win RG but it's highly unlikely.

There is a big difference between 2001 and 2003, Jen hasn't won a tournament in a year and a half. She really has to work on that serve if she wants to win another slam.
