On an article in Angie Widjaja's site is says that she as well as Hingis and Venus will play.

I read somewhere that Dokic is also playing, but I'm not 100%.

Imagine, Jelena going all the way to Asia to play an exhibition but not the GS...

Venus Williams is not playing as she is at Gold Coast that week.

I think Widjaja's site means to say that Hingis, Capriati and Williams have played there in the past.

I would expect Dementieva to play there. She is not playing Auckland or Gold Coast, and she played Hong Kong an year ago.

I always wondered why this wasn't a round robin event because then players could be assured of more match practice, but there you go.

Players have to play at least two matches because they are required to play doubles as well.

Hahaha.. lets make it more fun and try to guess the full names. Answers at
my website or wait until somebody do a copy-and-paste.
