Circa late July, Championships of Franzensbad, Franzensbad, Bohemia (Clay)

FI: Rosamund Salusbury (GB) d. Emmy Matuch (Ast) 7-5 6-0
July 19 to 24

SF Salusbury d. von Czerry 6-1 6-1
SF von Madaracz d. Baroness Juncker (GER) 6-1 6-1

FI Salusbury d. von Madaracz 7-5 6-4
from Prager TB:

SF Salusbury d. von Czerry 6-1 6-1
SF Matuch d. Baroness Juncker (GER) 6-1 6-4

Final Salsbury d. Matuch 7-5 6-0

I'm confused!

This time the BOHEMIA did not confound handicap results with open results,
the handicap matches are all different (final = Salusbury d Deutsch) and coincide with those from the Prager TB.

Circa August 20-26, Bad Homburg Tournament, Bad Homburg, Germany (Clay)
men's trophy (golden) - value: 2,000 Mark
women's trophy (silver) - value 500 Mark

Is is conspicuous that in newspapers of these years Bad Homburg is only called Homburg. That's because Homburg got the "Bad" (= bath) in 1912.

June 27-July 1, Dusseldorf, Germany (Clay)

FI: Lucie Bergmann d. E. Holzapfel 6-1 6-3
BOHEMIA July 15
Bergmann def. Berton 6-0 6-1 (a second Düsseldorf tournament ???)
the match Bergmann def. Berton could be in all likelihood the handicap final of the July 1 tournament, because in the same article it gives the handicap final of Leipzig (also for July 1) as a suppelment

was quite worth to donate a newspaper line:

August 14-19, Championships of Upper Austria, Gmünden, Austria (Clay)

FI: Rosamund Salusbury (GB) d. G. Wien 6-0 6-4
bad weather delayed the progression beyond the determined end of Aug 19, so several players scratched by heading for other tournaments

Prager TB Aug12:

"Frl. Else Neumann, one of the most beautiful, but not the the best of the players from Berlin, attracted attention in Marienbad by her idiosyncratic freely from the side curved drive, that in this execution only can play the Englishwoman Miss Tulloch, who Frl. Neumann had never seen."

probably full singles draw:
1R Madarasz d. Csery 6-1 ret.
1R Koritic* d. Spunt 6-4 6-1
QF Lane d. Sidi Maschka 6-4 6-4
QF Madarasz d. Salusbury 5-7 6-4 6-1
QF Mattuch d. G. Wien 9-11 9-7 4-0 ret.
QF Koritic d. Guise 6-0 6-3
SF Lane d. Madarasz 6-2 6-1
SF Mattuch d. Koritic 6-4 6-3
F Lane d. Mattuch 6-2 6-1
looking at both BOHEMIA and the Prager Tageblatt only this is clear:
SF Lane d. Madarasz
SF Mattuch d. Koritic
F Lane d. Mattuch

there are several differences about scores but also in earlier round matchups. I need a 3rd source ...

...

The journal Sport & Salon gives few results.
Anyhow it clears up that the planned 3-day-event has got a 4th day of play, because of a thunderstorm, therefor exact dates Aug 3 to 6.

First half of July

June 28-July 2, Championships of Baden bei Wien, Baden bei Wien, Austria (Clay)

FI: Ady Schmidt d. Fritzi von Ruprecht 7-5 6-2

-----
[...]
The informations given in BOHEMIA and the Prager Tageblatt are oddish.
Those let me think there were two different Baden Championships this year.
One in June and one in September.

In BOHEMIA of July 7 the men's Champion is Lothar Stoeck.
The women's final is Frl. Ady Schmidt d. Mrs. Gramlick 4-6 6-3 11-9

in Prager Tageblatt Sept 14 the men's Champion is Fritz Flesch.
The women's score given for the main post above equals the September edition.
Apropos it gives Fritz von Rupprecht as men's semi-finalist and C. von Rupprecht as woman - probably siblings.

The there are more differneces in other competitions, too.

Another source is necessary...
