Bad loss from Breckova in R2 to LL Petruzelova. 4-6 in 3rd set :(

I like her game. Breckova reminds me a lot of Chakvetadze. The way she constructs and re/directs the balls. A smart player. Beautiful to watch. Breckova has a strong forehand (long line and cross court). Her weakness is her weak serve. And that she is small. Also she should go to the net more. I hope she will reach the Top 100 someday. It won´t be easy ...

A deserved title in Jablonec nad Nisou for Malygina! She played strong tennis :)

I watched many of the matches this week. And Malygina and Kolodziejova were the 2 best players (by far). So in other words they were the deserved finalists.

In my opinion Malygina has the potential to reach Top 250, even more is possible. Of course she must improve a lot. And her disadvantage is that she is so small. But she has surprising power for such a small girl, has the fire, moves well, plays smart, with good angles and depth. The future will tell. I wish her luck because I like her game and powerful fluid beautiful strokes.

Kolodziejova has the potential to reach Top 200. Her serve (especially down the middle) can be a weapon. Also she has good groundstrokes (better backhand, weaker forehand). But she must improve everything of course. And reduce the UEs, get more consistent.
