Re: Rankings: One tournament can change everything ...

This is a weird statement.

Looking at successful players returning as mothers to the tour, than the times of Goolagong (with Evert, Navratilova, BJK) and Margaret Court (with BJK, Dürr, Wade) had...

Re: ITF players on new ITF system (started by Vrljic)

Such a system needs special tournaments with real chances for everyone. In the 1970s there was a real futures tour with up to 8 quali rounds! a lot of chances. Reducing chances is totally wrong

Re: Why would Court's 13 pre Open slams be counted equal to Open era slams?

Re: Australian Open to introduce super tie break

Wimbledon (and some other tournaments) had a tie-break at 8-8 at the beginning of the Open Era (for 1st sets). Why not take this for the last set now ??

Re: Tarpischev: Sharapova can be world no. 1 again in 2019

If remembering right, she fell in a deep mental hole in 2007 and was able to be a top player again until 2012. I think top 5 is reachable if she really want, but too late for no1.

Re: ITF tournaments to scrap third set in qualifying?

I'm not completely against a cut of a full 3rd set to a shorter "thing", but for me the currently used 10-points-"Match-tiebreak" is the most inappropriate "thing" to decide a match. Too easy, too...

This thread is not called "Worst and best slam finals in recent years", but sadly the most contributions include only recent years (despite many mentions about 1988 FO). I don't believe that most...

Re: Auckland wants to become a Premier in 2020.

The Australian tour is too short for me, always was. It should have a minimum of 3 weeks before the Open, so Brisbane, Auckland and Sydney in a row could have the best fields.

Re: Less than zero coverage of WTA Finals in the United States

Re: Nadal on Equal Prize Money · "not for models so why tennis?"

I just wondering if there were discussions about "best of 5" and "best of 3" in the amateur times. Did men complain about more work to do than women should do for same prize in tennis?
