She has some ties to North Macedonia? I know her father was football player of Hajduk, she lives since forever in Brela etc.

Croatia leader in exporting hottest players - Ajla to Australia, Bernarda to US and now Queen Drazic to MKD
Who's next? Krznaric to play with Poland?

BTW, today Primorac and Oliynykova both their R1 matches at W15 Heraklion. They play against each other in R2.

Petra Martic - small fall in the rankings to position between 25-40. She has a lot of points to defend and I think that without Sandra she won't be that calm on court.

Donald Vekic - She will end inside top 30. She is improving, but also has some difficulties to close the matches.

Jana Fett - she will come back to top 250, but it depends on her mentality a lot.

Tena Lukas - two or three good runs in 25k and Tena will be inside top 300.

Terezica Mrdeza - Angel will follow the pattern from that season, she has some weird scheduling at times. If she sticks just to clay, she may end up in top 300.

Boskovicić - with that one I have no clue, but rather not cracking top 200 yet.

Konjuh - either retire for good or come back to top 150.

Njiric, Primorac, Drazic - to remain where they are. Drazic will win few doubles titles in exotic locations.

I don't see any other Croatian player to crack top 400.

I think most of them (apart from juniors) will stagnate or regress slightly, but I do hope that Fett and especially Boskovic can markedly improve their ranking.

With a sidenote that I'm more confident of Boskovic doing that than Jana, but you never know.

EDIT: Konjuh, if returns healthy, is I think capable of finishing the year inside top 100.

Marcinko is too young to make a big surprise, though she can probably win a couple of G2-G3 events - what will be a brilliant development for her. In 2021, she can be a JGS player.

Otherwise, we have 2 juniors who can surprise in 2020 - Oliynykova & Krznaric.

Krznaric will become a part of ITF Development Team soon - so she'll have some "fresh air" in coaching. That's what she needs & deserves. I suggest that she will return to ITF Juniors top-100 and play a couple of GS.

Oliynykova will stop being a junior next year, so her progress is related to WTA performance. I expect her to finish next year around WTA 300.

Maybe now it is time to post our expectations and predictions for next year.

Petra Martic
I expect her to have some good results next season too but not such a good year like this one, predicting she will finish year ranked from 20-30.
It is important that she finds a good coach and doesn't lose confidence which she lacked through all of her career prior to last two years.

Donna Vekic
I have a feeling next season will be tough for her because I don't see how she could possibly improve her game more so quickly to enable her to rise in rankings further.
It could be slumping season or at best stagnating one.
She should just keep working hard through it and anything will be possible in future, she is still young enough.
I predict she will finish year ranked 32.

Jana Fett
Jana started to play better this year again and I expect her to keep rising in rankings.
I expect her to break top 200 again next year or maybe it is more a hope.
Maybe end year ranking of 160.

Tana Lukas
I believe she has the game to potentially reach GS qualies ranking but I am not sure if she really believes in that herself.
Sadly I predict her to finish 2020 ranked 260.

Tereza Mrdeza
Unfortunately her best is behind her.
I expect she will finish next season ranked similar as this one.

Lea Boskovic
I am hoping Lea can keep rising and play US Open qualies in 2020.
I expect her to be close to top 200 or break it at the end of next year.

I am also looking forward to seeing how our juniors do next year, especially Ruzic and Marcinko.
Good luck to all of them, maybe someone surprises us all.

Jana Fett def. Darija Jurak 6-4 6-2

Close first set but then it was over for Darija.
She is now on 19 matches losing streak.
