I hope next year ALL of Croatia's BEST tennis girls will play !!!!!!

Then Croatia for sure has a chance to reach World Group 2 play-offs !

But Croatia would have lost promotional play-off vs GB anyway with this weak team ...

Yes, good performance, but still another lost year for Croatia in Fed Cup

ma re Agreed, this team should really be congratulated for what they've done in Tallinn.

Re: Fed Cup 2018

A pity that Croatia lost 0-3 to Hungary !

Boskovic lost to Galfi 5-7 in 3rd set
Lukas lost to Stollar also 5-7 in 3rd set
And Jurak/Lukas retired in the doubles

They finish on 2nd place in the tough group C

Re: Fed Cup 2018

Tena was leading 5-2 in the third and had a match point .. now it is 5-6

Re: Fed Cup 2018

Unfortunately Lea wasted MP in third set against Galfi and eventually lost 6-2 2-6 7-5 Now Tena is gonna get crushed by Fanny Stolar...already trailing 0-3 atm
Shame...maybe we would have shot to win doubles and actually be first in group...but after all, no shame as we wouldn't be able to win promotion tie so no shame at all
Well done to Lea for her amazing effort for representation

Re: Fed Cup 2018

Boskovic won the second set against Galfi!
2-6 6-2 ... come on!

Re: Fed Cup 2018

Very happy that Croatia beat Sweden !

Boskovic beat Lister 7-5 in 3rd set !
Jurak/Lukas beat Sweden in a decisive doubles rubber 7-5 7-6

Good luck today vs Hungary !

ma re We've avoided relegation so the goal for this year is achieved, anything more would be a huge bonus.

Wish I could share your optimism regarding a tie with Hungary, but with them having practically two top 250 players, I'm affraid it's gonna be (too) tough. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Still, this year has been (still is) a wonderful chance for young Boskovic to pick up some experience and she made the most of it. Hope she shows up many more times in the future.

Lukas should consider playing more doubles if at all possible. Committing to them full time wouldn't be the craziest idea in the world either.

Anyway, good luck this afternoon!

P. S. Any chance for live stream before promotional ties?

Re: Fed Cup 2018

She should have put Boskovic instead of totally out of form Lukas in doubles together with Jurak.

Sweden was serving for first set but now is 5-5
