It's the way it is for Makiri. A comeback would be nice but only if she can give it her all. If she can't she shouldn't bother.

I just want to see her playing live again here in Rome, nothing else.

Ugh. That's not a good sign.

I really hope she didn't injury herself again after so little play.

She may have come back gotten beaten by and unknown and thought it's not worth it to her. If Kiri as I expect has lost some of her desire and work ethic after she won a olympic medal in 2012 and finally made the top 10 last June then she will just be a punching bag for most players the rest of her career. I do not want to see that for Maria. I only want her to continue with her career if she can give the kind of effort and train very hard like she used to.

Oh no. This one match can not have resulted in another injury or can it? Really worrying. Will she ever really come back? Would be a shame, the WTA is so open right now, with Sharapova, Azarenka amd Williams all having problems. They have been all three so super stable when Kiri was playing well, so unlucky .

Although she lost to BB Gun, it's great to see her back on the court!

Bencic is into semis in Charleston, so Kiri wasn"t lucky at all with Q she got in R1.
Basically her clay season will consist of these tournaments and the French Open.
Maybe she should have played at least one more. I mean, it's not like she's likely to get lots of deep run at the moment.
